It is already proving to be a great year for fishing on the Klamath River. We are seeing some good steelhead and salmon all the way up below the Iron Gate Dam. Its time to get on the calender. Here is Chris with a nice early Klamath Steelhead. Check out these fish!!

Forever now known as Tory Salmon. By the time I hooked one he had hooked over ten and brought four to the bank. The Lower Klamath is fishing well as we saw some nice chrome bright ass kicking steelhead and some monster kings. I brought everything I needed to get into those famed half pounders, but we couldn’t find them.

These guys bleed Orvis green. Wild Waters Fly Fishing Guide Service just became Orvis Endorsed this year. We wanted to show the store managers from San Francisco and San Jose why. Kimberly, on her third trip with us brought her friend Stephan from Germany to do some fly fishing. They had a great road trip planned that included fishing with us on the Klamath River. So much fun!
