These kids fished hard on a windy day. We had a blast. I answered more questions in these 4 hours than any other 4 hours of my life.

Flows are very manageable and the Salmon Flies are making an appearance. John hooked a couple of nice adult Steelhead back to back that grabbed on the surface, both takes had him giggling. Most fish were small, and Caddis hatches were much thicker than Stoneflies. We expect to see some really fun drift boat fishing on the Klamath over the next few weeks.

Keith and I spent the day on a very cool fishery. Fish ate dry flies, nymphs, and streamers. We haven’t fished the Wood much but with what we saw today I think thats gonna change.

A day of work can’t be a day without a few casts. Guide Aaron Grabiel put me on this fish, and Zach reeled him in. A great team we made on an awesome way to end a day of building fence. Aaron it was fun fishing your pond, I’m happy to help out anytime.
