Oct. and the first part of Nov. on the Klamath river was a great time to be hunting Steelhead. As we near the end of the Salmon run, and egg bite feeding frenzies, don’t be sad. Well into Winter, the Steelhead fishing will continue on the Klamath River and we hope to see you out there.

Our view from the deck, after a great day of fishing on any one of Mt. Shasta’s majestic rivers. Salmon, Steelhead and Trout on the Klamath, McCloud and Sacramento Rivers. All within a hours drive. This trip is a hit!

Its fall again on the Lower Sac. This fishery is a tough one to beat this time of year. These trout are just so healthy. Big hard fighting bows that beat even the best of fisherman and women.

A great trip to Montana this last weekend. I had more than a ton of fun, saw some awesome familiar faces and met some new friends. My personal thanks goes out Jason Cotta and Adam McNamara for allowing me to tag along and always passing the good word about us. Oh, and I did go fishing a bit.

I spent a half day with a group of volunteers planting trees on The Nature Conservancy’s, Shasta river project at the Nelson Ranch. The goal is one day, to fish here! Even with The Nature Conservancy on its side, this river could use some help. Its the closest Steelhead fishery to our front door and I fish it the least. Lets get these fish back!!!!!!
