North Umpqua, Steehead on a Skated Fly

What a awesome river!  I made it up twice so far this summer and hoping to get in at least one more trip.  Chris thanks again.  Andy always a pleasure!  But the real hero of this trip is Rose,  Great gift!!!  She hired Rich Zellman www.steelheadwater.com for 2 days for Chris’ birthday and Rich was cool enough to throw in a third day for free.  We all got to take advantage of Rich’s knowledge and he comes highly recommended by yours truly.  I have been humbled here a few times and Rich strait up had the know how to put fish on my line.  I was impressed,  Thanks Rich!

Deschutes River Rafting

My old friend Jonathan was hosting a ski racing camp in Mount Hood for disabled athletes.  When he asked me to row a raft for them down the Deschutes I couldn’t say no.  It was pleasure to row a raft for these guys, and holy sh#$ did we have some fun.
