Klamath River King Bite
Categories: Fishing Report
One of the best King bites we have witnessed. Both the Salmon and the Steelhead loved the fly today as we were into them all day. Patsy and David with a double. Happy 25th!
These kings were plentiful and on the bite. Peter and his wife Carol has never fly fished before and caught their first Steelhead and King.
Early fall rains really help out the fishing. Probably best to stay warm and dry indoors and just read blogs about how good the fishing is.
King after King after King then a Steelhead or Half Pounder then another King.
The drift alone is worth it. The storms passed heading north, but not until they supplied all the feeder creeks with enough water to beckon the spawners.
What an awesome day.
The famed Klamath Half-Pounder.
Carol’s fist fish on the fly rod! She is off to a good start!
