The caddis are thick and we saw Salmon starting to dig in the gravel. Some good fishing took place today, we should see more of that over the next month. Be ready Lower Sac fans!

A play day on the Lower Sac. We skipped Redding and went South, out of the smoke and out of the crowds. Super fun day with this crew.

Its time for some of the big bows to be caught. Aug. Sept and Oct. can be some of the best big fish fishing of the year on the Sacramento river. The water is still up high and we love fishing the caddis hatches at theses flows.

2 days on 2 rivers, Trout fishing in Mt. Shasta, CA. An epic dry fly bite had us out late on Monday. I served dinner instead of lunch, and after dinner… we went fishing.

A couple hours of dry fly fishing can sooth your soul. I was glad Andy dragged me out for some fishing, I had things to do but I guess fishing with my friends still takes priority.
