McCloud river looking good! 6/20/11

With the flows down to a managable level, and the hatches thick, the McCloud river is fishing well.  Chris its such a pleasure fishing with you.  I look forward to the next time.

6.18.11 McCloud River Fly Fishing.

I had a great time with Kimberly and Allison, two hard core fly fishers. McCloud’s flows are fluctuating but she is still fishing well. I must say men, women pick this up a lot quicker, and get to the conclusion of why we fish sooner. Thanks ladies. Continue Reading →

6.3.11. Upper Sac

For a solid hour we had silly dry fly fishing. The water is high and swift but the fishing is pretty good in the pools. If you know your spots you can do really well right now. And No Mossbrae falls is not one of those spots.

Lower Sac is the place to fish. 5.22.11

 

All May the Lower Sac has been fishing great. The crowds are down and the bite is on. PMD’s, Big Rubber Legs, Eggs are the hot ticket. There will still be great fishing for another week or two until they ramp up the flows. Get on it soon!!!  >>LOTS OF PICS HERE! Continue Reading →
