Jason Kash

Jason is one of our newest guides and has been an outstanding addition to the team. He started fishing at 5 yrs. old, fly fishing at 11 and started tying flies at 12. Jason resides in McCloud now and usually you will find him at the table tying his innovative flies or if not home you will likely find him on one of our nearby rivers either guiding or getting in some me time. He brings to the table a variety of techniques and is a passionate Czech nympher. He lives and breathes fly fishing, is very energetic and has a very Zen approach. Here’s a quote from him ….

One of the coolest things about being a fly fishing guide is being in the position to be able to expose people to an amazing thing that everyone has a connection to, everyone knows a friend or relative that fishes, that’s the common language even if the individual has never spoken it. It’s deep rooted in all of us. While fishing in the Amazon my guides didn’t know a lick of English but it did’t matter because we communicated without words. Fishing is its own universal language of happiness to those who know.

TESTIMONIALS

“I am extremely picky about who I hire as a guide. I have hired many, and have only returned to one company over and over again – Wild Waters Fly Fishing. Thanks to them, I feel comfortable fishing the McCloud on my own, confident that I will choose the right flies and find the feeding lanes. I feel safe with them. And I am a stronger fisher as a result of their teaching and patience. They focus on what the client wants out of the trip…very client focused.I have learned incredible casting tricks for catching steelhead to get a perfect drift which makes even the pickiest fish bite.I am a regular customer and would not go with any other company. Believe me, I researched guides for a while before I went with them years ago. I have been a regular customer ever since.Regards, Happy Female Client”
