My day off.

I seldom need to catch one. …seldom. I really wanted to catch a fish today and almost hired Chuck or Keith. Instead, I had a great day with my girlfriend and loyal lab.

Good days are getting to be the norm on the Klamath as Patsy and David catch some winter steel. Happy Birthday David!

12.29.11 Sayulita, Mexico

Spent some time warming my bones in Sayulita, Mexico. Anne and I were doing some recon for Wild Waters Fly Fishing hosted trips.

12.29.11. Klamath River Fishing Report.

We are having some great fishing on the Klamath! Its the end of December and everyone is eagerly awaiting the next storm cycle and run of big winter fish. Few anglers are seen out there these days, the ones that are out there are recognized. People in the know.

12.18.11.Rogue River Fishing Report

The upper stretches of the Rogue is always a good place to hunt for a nice winter fish. Overall the fishing was a bit slow, but some days its all about a few nice fish like this hen. Plan a trip as soon as we see some rain. The best is yet to come.

12.15.11. Napa River Striper Fishing

Spending a warm winter day casting shooting heads and big flies with the prospect of a large striper each strip. My boat is at Cuttings Wharf on the Napa River for the winter.

11.27.11 Kimberly on the Klamath.

Kimberly, on her third trip with us brought her friend Stephan from Germany to do some fly fishing. They had a great road trip planned that included fishing with us on the Klamath River. So much fun!

11.20.11 Klamath Fishing Report

Tis the season the big fish come and I was formally introduced to them today. We did farm a few but boated 13 adults. I guided Jerry and Stan through Jack Trout and they were great fun, in fact, “sizzlers of the week!” Thanks Jumping Jack Trout! See More Pics.

11.19.11 Klamath River Father and Son

Alan and Taylor fish with us a couple times a year and we had an action packed day on the Klamath. Alan is a Tennis Pro and shows his forearm strength on this fight.
