August was busy!!!

We are a guide run guide service, and we have been slammed. Fishing has taken us all over the place and during these hot August days we found ourselves all wet. Check out this great video recap!!!

Lower Sacramento Fishing in May

The Lower Sacramento continues to give good fishing days with some really quality fish.Right now the Lower Sac is the best choice for some drift boat fishing.

Opening Weekend on the McCloud River

Our favorite river opened back up this weekend. The McCloud treated us to some great fishing with most efforts being placed on the dry fly. Many of our favorite deep holes filled with pea-gravel during the high flows and much of the river changed dramatically. But… not for the bad. It certainly will take some […]

Steelhead Green

We have been looking for that steelhead green and the steel curtain. Seeing the Chetco double in size we were hoping for some green water and some fresh fish. Not quite chromers and not quite green water but a damn good time.

Upper Sac in February.

We have been spending some fun days trout fishing on the Upper Sacramento river. The water is low and clear for winter levels and good fish depends on a stealth presentation, The warmest part of  day produce the best fishing and some decent hatches.

Rogue River Update February 24th

Low clear cold water is keeping the fishing challenging but perseverance and hard work seems to always pay off. Four great friends came up to fish with us on the Upper Rogue. Great times!

Rogue River Fishing Report

The Rogue River is seeing some good winter steelhead fishing. We have been putting in some days on the Shady Cove stretch. Some nice steelhead are being caught under the indicator as well as on the swung fly. Most of our trips are incorporating both techniques. With crystal clear water we are excited about […]

Winter Steelheading on the Trinity River

Wild Waters is creating a great presence on the Trinity River. We have a great house to that sleeps four anglers just seconds from the Bucktail boat launch. Let us set a trip up for you.

12.18.12 One before the storm.

Ryan and John came up for a bit of steelheading before the storm hit. I really enjoy hunting those winter fish. The Klamath has a good number of adults around and worth hitting. Its now snowing hard outside and I’m tying flies for your next steelhead.

Fresh fish are showing up on the Klamath.

The Klamath river may be the best river to cut your teeth on steelheading. The fish are grabby and full of energy. What they lack in size they make up for in abundance. What a special river system.
