We strolled out for a morning fishing session from Ash camp and when we returned to the cars the camp ground was empty.  A forest service employee came down and politely asked us to vacate due to a wild fire closing in.   So we packed up and went to the Upper Sac.

I love the McCloud and was bummed we had to leave, but our mornings success made it a little easier to pack up and head west.  The Upper Sac fished well and we put a hook in some really big rainbows.  The water is warm though so I didn’t take any of the fish out of the water.  no pics
