Showered, shaved and wearing a suit and tie (my blood knots are better than my neckties) I attended the Cal Trout Gala in San Francisco. The Four Seasons hosted dedicated fisherman and conservationist with cocktails and fine food, while fish stories and tales were spun by all. I think I had the only fish story from that day, as I guided the Lower Sac that morning and catching some great fish.

Cal Trout has done so much to protect out valuable fishing resources and I ardently support their efforts. It was a pleasure to party with such great people.
