You would think there would be an effect as she burns upriver. As choppers lifted buckets of her clean glacial waters to drop on charred forest, mayflies emerged through a floating layer of ash into an apocalyptic world of strange beauty. Lake Siskiyou Bass 7/9/11

Fish were again looking up.  We caught some nice Smallmouth Bass.  The weather was more than cooperative and a good swim was all it took to cool down.
