Fishing for your birthday sounds like a great idea to me, so I was pretty excited Samantha wanted to come out again for her second annual. Really fun fishing with you girls.

A pair of Swans, they had two little ones with them but I couldn’t really get a good shot. The male was very impressive as he strutted around trying to tell us politely to leave.

Trout Season is open and the McCloud River welcomed us with some great fishing. It was really cool to be back out on the river that we love so much. This annual outing is something we look forward to every year. Thanks so much for having us guys!!!

Today we fished right through Redding. Only a few of the fish we caught could you hold with one hand. Thanks Chris for making it down to Redding for a couple days and thanks Nick for joining him. I look forward to having you guys in the boat again in Nov.

First day of the year fishing in a T-shirt. Non stop action and great company kept my mind off the fact my fore arms where getting sunburned.

Chris stepped out of the boat and fooled a few on a dry fly. Some mid day pmd’s were just enough for a few trout to turn their heads up.
