Back in my element on the McCloud, wet wading and pig hunting with my fellow guide pals Chuck Volckhausen, Aaron Grabiel and Gabe Duran. A huge father son group of 16 anglers hit the McCloud. Check out Allen’s Loch Levan and German Browns! Two more for the McCloud Hall of Fame.
Humbly, I admit that I am so lucky to guide who I guide, where I guide. The McCloud River is such a special fishery! And I love my job. Here’s one for the McCloud Hall of Fame!

One of my personal biggest. You can see why the Trinity river is a favorite of many Northern California Steelheaders
Day after day this river kicks down some of the country’s largest native rainbows. Pat caught one
As we are adding our biggest and best fish under Pigs, Hogs, Toads and Whales here’s a Winter 2011 big buck caught on the Smith.
