Alan, Tom and Don were not aware of the cold wet snowy conditions, they were too busy to care about numb fingers and toes, shivering added action to the fly, rods bent and steelhead jumping high. Check out these pics. Thanks to Jim Roberts for the 2nd boat Saturday.
Thanks Henry for all that you have done for the McCloud and the Nature Conservancy. It has been my honor to guide you all these years. Enjoy retirement! Keep Tom and Chris fishing.
The weather shifted and the snow came in. On Halloween I was in a T-shirt, today I was fully dressed for winter. Thanks for coming out Charlie. I really enjoyed fishing with you for a couple days.
Keith Lyon joins the Wild Waters team of talented guides to head up our switch, spey and swing trips. Keith is a rod maker at R.B. Meiser and a local spey aficionado. We are proud that he chose to start his guiding career under our banner.
Nov. 1st is Skylers day out. This is 3 years in a row and this year Skyler took some big steps in fly fishing. He improved his skills with every cast and every drift. He even rowed the boat like a champ. That was the most important lesson because next year, hes rowing and I’m fishing.
David and Peter, long time clients/friends, fish the Klamath with me every year. It was a beautiful day on the river. Thanks to Jim Roberts for the second boat.
The McCloud was tough today and we had to scrub for fish. Luckily we found some big browns.
A day of Aqua Culture on the Klamath River! Check out these photos and videos.
The Klamathon Lodge played host to 10 anglers and 5 guides. Fun was had by all on and off the water. Ken thank you so much for coming up. We look forward to next year.
