This is my great client/buddy Dr Doug. He likes to climb Shasta and then go fishing with me all day. He’s got a hankering for some browns.

Doug is a fine photographer and took some cool shots of our day on the McCloud River Preserve.

A few days later on the Upper Sac. I harvest some wild grapes, apples and figs. I love the Harvest. Dries figs are amazing and easy. A good fisherman can always find food.

Wilderness Medicine group gets three great days of fishing on our fine North State waters.

I love fall fishing for many reasons, the beauty, the light, the colors, the arrival of steelhead, October Caddis hatches and the feeling of change.

Lower Sac bows eating eggs!!! No one else knows about this little secret. Just kidding!! Still It’s so much fun.

Bollibokka is one of my favorite places to guide. In two days we netted over 100 fish and most were caught on dries.
