6.17.10 Klamath River

As the Upper Sac and McCloud remain tough to fish, the Klamath is seeing some crowds but still offering great dry fly fishing.

I had a really nice day with repeat clients.  It was great to see both Dennis and Lettie back in the boat.  Dennis claimed to be rusty but fished great, made nice cast, and fought some hard pulling fish.  The dry fly bite is mid day, as the Salmonflies and Golden Stones came down by the thousands.  Its getting hot and the water is warming too fast, soon the weeds, then its time to say goodbye to the Klamath until the Fall.
